| Abstract: | Brillouin scattering characteristics of photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) are investigated theoretically and experimentally in this paper. The results of two kinds of PCFs are compared and discussed, the influences of size of fiber core on the acoustic modes and hence on the Brillouin resonance peaks are explained. Furthermore, the improvement for our research is also presented. |
