| Abstract: | A series of the theoretic analyses and geometric nonlinear finite element calculations of the corrugating arch-shell structure and the non-corrugating arch-shell structure are presented in the paper. A beneficial conclusion that the stability carrying capacity of the non-corrugating arch-shell structure is higher than that of the corrugating arch-shell structure is made. |
