| Abstract: | There will be great stress concentration appearing nearby the junction of nozzle and shell of pressure vessels with big openings,so reinforcement is absolutely necessary.This paper introduced several reinforcement methods for pressure vessels with big openings:pressure area method;limit load method;finite element method,also analyzed their own principium and character. |
