Abstract: | The reflection coefficients of a circular dielectric rod terminated by a metallic flange are computed by the Hankel transform for the TE01 mode. The field distribution in the half space is determined by taking the inverse Hankel transform of the field components. Therefore the field produced by a circular diathermy applicator can be determined theoretically. |
