Abstract: | Roemer, a collaborator of Rorschach's, devised a “symbol test series” that is used as one of the projective methods of psychodiagnostic testing. We refrain from getting involved in the controversy related to the reliability of such technique. A learning program under development is described that would be able to classify the subjects on the basis of their verbal behavior. By comparing the diagnosis of the psychologist, accepted as “objective truth”, with the profile provided by the computer, the quality of the latter can be made to improve continuously. |
