Abstract: | Reactions of K2Cr2O7 and K2CrO4 with Me3SnCl yielded (Me3Sn)2CrO4] (1) and (Me3Sn)2CrO4?(Me3SnOH)] (2), respectively, which were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H-NMR spectroscopy, and an X-ray diffraction study. Compound 1 shows a novel square grid-like structure consisting of CrO4 2? and Me3Sn+ ions, whereas 2 exhibits a three-dimensional structure composed of CrO4 2?, Me3Sn+, and (Me3Sn)2SnOH]+ ions. |
