构建和谐社会是矿业城市发展面临的新课题

党的十六届四中全会指出:“要适应我国社会的深刻变化,把和谐社会建设摆在重要位置,注重激发社会活力,促进社会公平和正义”。目前,我国有相当一部分矿业城市,随着城市中原有工业的日渐衰退,曾经繁荣兴旺的城市日益萧条。如何构建和谐的矿业城市?本文从构建和谐社会是矿业城市发展的重要保障、构建和谐矿业城市所面临的问题、构建可持续发展的和谐矿业城市三个方面论述了构建和谐的矿业城市面临的新课题。

THE NEW TASK OF MINING CITY DEVELOPMENT: BUILDING A HARMONIOUS SOCIETY

The decision on the building of the Party's governance capabilities adopted by the Fourth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth CPC Central Committee calls for meeting the demands of the profound social changes in China and placing the issue of building up a harmonious society at an important position by stimulating social vitality,and pushing forward social justice and fairness.Quite a few flourished mining cities become stagnant at present with decline of quondam mining industry.How to build a harmonious mining city? This paper puts forward that building a harmonious society is the crucial guarantee for development in mining cities.Problems of building a harmonious and sustainable development city are discussed as well in this paper.
