| 摘 要： | 詹姆斯的真理观与传统的真理观迥然不同,造成这种不同的原因是由于詹姆斯对哲学的独特理解。然而这种真理观并非一产生就被其他哲学家所接受,理性主义者就曾从本质论的角度对其大加攻击和贬斥。詹姆斯在《实用主义》一书中对很多理性主义无端的指责作出回应,一些指责在他看来甚至是荒谬可笑的,指责者并没有对这一新的真理观作严肃的考察。具体分析其内容并澄清这一对后来的新实用主义产生重大影响的真理观的误解。

| Abstract: | James' outlook on truth was utterly different from traditional ones.The reason of this difference should be that James had a special understanding to philosophy.But this outlook on truth was not accepted by other philosophers at first.For instance,rationalists attacked and belittled vigorously this outlook from the angle of essentialism.James responded the censure of rationalists in the book of pragmatism.Some of the censure was absurd in his eyes,because the man who had censured the outlook did not inspect... |
