Feedback properties of linear regulators |

| Abstract: | Results relating to the state feedback realization of the optimal linear regulator are reviewed. Desirable stability and parameter sensitivity properties of this regulator are discussed. Interpretations of these properties in terms of matrix return differences and comparison sensitivity functions are given. Some related open problems are discussed. |
