Semiology was applied to the interior design in Dalian Castle Museum's navigating hall.By means of deconstructing ancient castle's symbols,the author tried to create the museum with a newstyle laying background so that the way of "historical data"old type display would be broken.Tourist will be encouraged to participate in and interact in the museum.The content of history and culture must be strengthened in Dalian,which is a new tour city.In the end he realized that no matter what kind of means and designs are used,we must adjust measures to actual conditions.The design could not be judged by good or bad but fit.
