Application of W kent Muhlbauer Pipeline Risk Assessment in Natural Gas Transportation Pipeline Safety Assessment

W.kent Muhlbauer pipeline risk assessment method is introduced, i.e., to find out the pipeline hazard degree by calculating the value of pipeline relative risk. Through combining the characteristic of natural gas transportation pipeline engineering in domestic China, modifying the assessment principle and appropriately adjusting the assessment value, the leakage risk of pipeline has been evaluated by W.kent Muhlbauer pipeline risk assessment method. The assessment results can be adopted as the decision-making basis and make the design, construction and management of pipeline more scientific.
