Abstract:Pyroelectric properties of Li_(0.06)Na_(0.94)NbO_3 ceramics have been investigated in thetemperature range from 300 K to 120 K.The anomalous behaviors of pyroelectricproperties in certain temperature interval are very similar to that of Li_xNa_(1-x)NbO_3crystals.This shows there is a low temperature phase transition with a large thermalhysteresis for Li_(0.06)Na_(0.94)NbO_3 ceramics (about 80K).The change of polarity duringphase transition causes the inversion of its pyroelectric coefficient in polarized direc-tion to the opposite sign.The pyroelectric time response has also been observed,theanomalous phenomenon of pyroelectric charge changing its polarity with time dur-ing phase transition is indicative of the co-existence of two phases.These resultsconfirm our study on Li_xNa_(1-x)NaO_3 crystals before to be correct.
