摘    要:建构技术是衡量建筑发展的重要标志,其发展的方式、方向左右着建筑的形态和使用方式。以空间与实体的比值关系这一视角纵观西方建筑史上几个典型实例,发现其中的变化规律,并从中找出建构技术发展和建筑发展之间的对应关系,从而提出:建构技术的发展是建筑发展的物质性基础,以最少的材料获取最多的空间一直是设计的价值所在。

Abstract:Tectonic technology is an important indicator of architecture development, which determines the architectural form and the way of use. This article, from the perspective of ratio of void to solid, observes some typical examples in the history of Western architecture. The discussion of the variation among these examples precisely reveals the correspondence between tectonic technology development and architectural development, and therefore indicates tectonic technology development is the material base of architectural development. It demonstrates the timeless rule that the value of a design should always be the creation of the most space with the minimum material.
