Application of Cam in Regulating Gap between Blades of NC Shearer

The gap between the blades of a shearer has a great effect on the shearing quality. This paper introduces blade gap automatic regulating device of NC shearer with a mode that gap value can be fed back by two different potentiometers. The practice shows that using cam combined with linear potentiometer can correctly feed back the gap between blades and precisely control the gap accuracy and the shearing quality can be ensured.
