江西某石英砂精矿再除铁试验研究

摘    要:江西某石英砂精矿含铁0.012%, 为进一步降低精矿含铁量, 采用高梯度磁选法, 研究了磁场强度、脉动冲次、给矿浓度及磁介质对石英砂除铁效果的影响。试验结果表明, 采用最新研制的SLon(1.8 T)立环脉动高梯度磁选机, 在磁场强度1.8 T、磁介质棒直径1.5 mm、脉动冲次50 r/min、给矿浓度25%的条件下获得了作业产率92.77%、含铁0.0077%的石英砂精矿, 经济效益和社会效益显著。

Abstract:High gradient magnetic separation (HGMS) process was introduced to reduce further the iron content of the quartz sand concentrate containing 0.012% iron from Jiangxi. The influences of magnetic field intensity (MFI), pulsating frequency (PF), feed concentration (FC) and magnetic medium (MM) on iron-removal efficiency were investigated. The results show that the latest-developed SLon (1.8 T) vertical ring pulsating high gradient magnetic separator operated under optimized parameters such as MFI of 1.8 T, PF of 50 r/min, FC of 25% and MM rod diameter of 1.5 mm, results in a quartz sand concentrate with a process yield of 92.77% and iron content of 0.0077%, which can bring significant economic and social benefits.
