| 摘 要： | 描述比较了ＣＡＴＶ与电信网在实现因特网访问上的优劣，分析了ＣＡＴＶ介质上运行ＴＣＰ／ＩＰ协议的必要条件，给出了ＣＡＴＶ介质的低层协议，详细讨论了实现Ｃａｂｌｅ Ｍｏｄｅｍ的关键技术。

| Abstract: | In this paper, advantages and disadvantages of CATV are compared with that of telecommunication networks. The prerequisites of running TCP/IP in CATV media are analyzed, and the lowlayer protocol in CATV media is offered. The key technique of implementation of Cable Modem is discussed in detail. |
