Life Cycle Assessment and Application of Product Eco-design

Life cycle assessment is a tool to evaluate the life cycle of products, processes and activities impacting environment. The methodlogical framework of life cycle assessment consists of four parts: definition of goal and scope, life cycle inventory, impact assessment and life cycle interpretation. This can be widely used in the eco-product design, such as product identification and diagnosis, product design and development, assessment and comparison of product environment impact, recycle process design.
