| Abstract: | Vehicle License Plate Recognition System(VLPRS)are expected to have numerous applications in traffic surveying and monitoring.A VLPRS is described in this paper.The author addresses the problem of locating the License plate area in the image,segmentation of characters and recognition of each character. Experimental results show the effectiveness and high speed of the method given by this paper. |
