| Abstract: | Compared to normal volunteers, coronary vasodilation reserve is reduced in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy but not in rowing athletes with left ventricular hypertrophy. Positron emission tomography can provide complementary information to distinguish between the athlete's heart and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. |
