Effect of Rare Earth Additive on the Activity and Stability of Hydrocarbon Reforming Catalyst Ni/α-Al_2O_3 |

Abstract: | This paper studies the effect of rare earth lanthanum and cerium on the activity and stability of Ni/a--A1_2O_(?) catalyst, The experimental results indicate that: (1) the amount of additives lanthanum and cerium affects the activity and stability to to some extent; (2) a moderate amount of these rare earth elements can disperse the active component nickel, and obviously enhance the stability of the catalyst. What is more important is that lanthanum and cerium coexist in the same nickel catalyst, creating a synelgism which promotes the activity and stability of the catalyst. |
