SOME PROBLEMS FOR SETTING NEW REGULATION ON RADIOLOGICAL PROTECTION

This paper describes some problems required by study for setting new regulation on radiological protection.First,regulate the control of natural radiation exposure from human activity,including occupational exposure of the underground mines and the mineral extraction industry,and jet aircrew;radiation exposure to radon in the dwelling.Second,clarify and strengthen the contents to solve the problems in the present radiation protection,including the control of release of effluents,and the control and monitoring radioactivity in sewage;discuss some problems in the application of BSS exemptions level.Third,absorb international new experience,especially ICRP recommendations and IAEA standards and guidances.
