Abstract:
The expression for the short-circuit current near the grain boundary of a polycrystalline solar cell is obtained. The grain boundary is characterised by five parameters: left- and right-side diffusion lengths and appropriate effective recombination velocities and a boundary layer width. The radial generation function is described by the Gaussian distribution, and the axial one by a trigonometric function.
