Quadrupole-doublet with permanent magnets for proton beam focussing |

| Abstract: | For PIXE studies on inhomogeneous samples with medium spatial resolution of about 50 μm two quadrupole doublets with Co5Sm pole pieces for focussing 2.0 and 2.5 MeV proton beams, respectively, have been designed and tested. Technical data and first results are presented. |
