口译记忆及其提高策略

口译是一个复杂的信息处理过程,它涉及人的思维过程和心理过程。而记忆则是口译的关键环节之一,也是困扰口译活动的主要"瓶颈"。对于口译记忆的研究需要从跨学科的角度出发,综合多学科的研究成果来了解它的规律。认知心理学把记忆分成三个不同层次的记忆,各自在口译过程中发挥不同的作用;释意学派脱离语言外壳的翻译理论揭示了口译记忆的实质,即在理解思想内容的基础上对源语关键词的记忆。由此可以归纳出形象化记忆、语义编码记忆和组块加工记忆等提高口译记忆的策略。

Discussions of Memory Mechanism and Strategies for Memory Retention in Interpretation

Interpreting is a complicated information processing which involves many psychological activities.Memory,as an essential part of interpreting,is known as the ＂bottle-neck＂ for information processing.The research on memory requires an interdisciplinary perspective and integration of multi-disciplinary research results.In cognitive psychology,memory is divided into 3 different phrases,each having its distinctive functions in interpreting practice.The interpretive theory of devocalization,on the other hand,gives another new perspective about memory.Based on these research results,this paper points out some strategies for improving memory retention in interpreting activities.
