| Abstract: | It is shown theoretically that the excess noise of the radiation source can be compensated in a fiber-optic gyroscope with
a 3×3 ring directional coupler and a differential amplifier at the exit. This noise is one of the main factors limiting the
precision of a fiber-optic gyroscope.
