Taking precautions to deploy carefully and implementing with full attention to ensure secure and orderly operation of East China Power Grid

The power consumption of East China Power Grid, Anhui,Zhejiang,Jiangsu,Fujian,and Shanghai during the summer peaks in 2005 increased tremendously,however,there are less power breakoff and limitation in 2005 than in 2004,and the detailed data are given to prove the situation.The preplans for the 4 strong typhoons that hit China this summer and treatment for the damages they have caused are introduced,and the roles that the DSM and the improvement of transmission capacity played in meeting 2005 summer peaks are recommended.Suggestions on ensuring the secure and orderly power supply of the Grid in the winter of 2005 and summer of 2006 are also put forward.
