| Abstract: | BERLT PCBN cutting tools are widely used in the machining of hard- to- cut ferrous materials such as hardened steel, cast iron and sintered powder metal （PM）, and contribute to productivity growth and cost reduction for Metal - working. Machinability of PM parts is not so good. Therefore, Zhengzhou Berh Super Hard Materials Co. Ltd have succeeded in developing new BN - S100, compared with other products, which has the CBN particle concentration as high as 90% or more, the combination of CBN particles more solid ideally suited for processing of a variety of PM materials. Using this BN - S100 material, PCBN cutting tools have achieved higher precision performance and had longer tool life. Furthermore, these tools can be used in other hard ferrous metal materials machining. |
