| Abstract: | Taking the architectural design of the multistoried steel-frame residential building as an example, this paper carries out impact analysis, based on the optimization design and comparison of structural element sections, of the constructional column spacings on the overall project cost. Obtained are the most economic column spacings of the steel-frame residential building. |
