To adapt to the changing external environment of hydropower construction project and to meet the requirements of improving the management in domestic hydroelectric developing companies, management models for hydropower construction project are in desperate need of deepen revolution and innovation. A comparative analysis between DBB and EPC helps to identify their characteristics and differences. By demonstrating the owner’s major responsibilities during phases of feasibility study, bidding and detail design, we hope to continuously reinforce the idea of investment controlling in the deign and construction of hydropower projects, and diversify means of investment control, so as to improve investment control and management benefits.
