| Abstract: | This paper summarizes three main char- acteristics including densely development, sustain- able economic growth and smaller gap of develop- ment between urban and rural areas in Yangtze Delta. It analyzes problem of stability in economic growth due to the overdependence on FDI and the restriction of resource and environment, and describes the trends of faster urban-regionalization, continued concentra- tion of industries & population, supply of construc- tion land, industrial restructure, spatial reorganiza- tion and environment readjustment in the region. |
