Abstract: | Studied personality correlates of intrinsic and extrinsic job orientation using 136 employees in an social service organization. Results are presented for general intrinsic orientation as well as for specific factors included in the 2 broad categories. Results indicate that concern with intrinsic factors signifies approach tendencies, while concern with extrinsic factors points to avoidance tendencies. (19 ref.)
