| Abstract: | The design and operation of the SHW16 ultra-deep horizontal well are introduced in this paper. The operation processes are introduced in detail on well trajectory control, well trajectory measure and optimization on drilling fluid. The main drilling assemblies are also given. The success of this well laid a foundation to expand the use of horizontal well in Shixi Oil Field. |
