| Abstract: | The principle and development history of electroplating power supply were introduced. The difference in terms of power supply energy consume, power factor, conversion efficiency between high frequency switching power supply (IGBT rectifier) and silicon controlled rectifier (SCR) were analyzed. The conclusion is that the high frequency switching power supply is better than the silicon controlled rectifier in saving energy and protecting environment, and the former is the best choice of power supply for cleaner production in electroplating industry. |
