网格环境下的虚拟图书馆的关键技术

网格技术实现了将互联网上的资源作为统一资源的可能性，这是一种动态的、多机构虚拟组织的资源协调共享和问题解决的崭新技术。虚拟图书馆的功能是突破图书馆围墙的限制，延伸到不受时空限制的网络空间。虚拟图书馆建设必须依靠高新技术的支撑，网格技术为虚拟图书馆的建设奠定了技术基础。文章叙述了虚拟图书馆的特性和网格的基本概念，介绍了Globus的体系结构，给出了基于网格技术的虚拟图书馆构想，并对基于网格技术的虚拟图书馆设计过程中的一些关键问题进行了分析和探讨，并给出了一些解决方案，这些关键问题和解决方案对基于网格技术的虚拟图书馆的建设具有重要意义。

Key Technologies of Virtual Library in Grid Environment

The grid technology implements the possibility of using the resources on Internet as a single, contiguous computing resource. This is new technology that is coordinated resource sharing and problem solving in dynamic, multi-institutional virtual organizations. The function of virtual library is to break through the limitation of library wall and extend the space of library to the boundless cyberspace. Building virtual library requires the high and up-to-data technologies, grid technology provides a sound technique ground for the construction of virtual library. This paper describes the characteristics of virtual library, presents the basic concept of grid, introduces the architectures of Globus, gives out some ideas about the design of virtual library based on grid technology, analyses and discusses several key problems for the design of virtual library based on grid technology,proposes some solving approaches to these key problems. These key problems and their solving approaches play very important role in the construction of virtual library based on grid technology.
