Versuche zur trennung der anionen nitrat,nitrit, hyponitrit und nitrohydroxylaminat am anionenaustauscher wofatit SBW

The separation of NO₃^?, NO₂^?, N₂O₂^2? and N₂O₃^2? has been studied by elutionchromatography on the strong basic anion-exchange resin Wofatit SBW. The solutions proper for elution-chromatography have been chosen on basis of measured anion-affinities. Quantitative separations were obtained with the mixtures of N₂O₂^2?, NO₂^? and NO₃^? as well as of N₂O₃^2?, NO₂^? and NO₃^? with a solution of Na₂SO₄. Both separation methods can be applied to prepare solutions of hyponitrite and nitrohydroxylaminate which are free of nitrate and nitrite.
