System of embeded electric meter based on TCP/IP protocol

After a brief analysis of fixing electric meter for office building,the design of meter system for measuring electricity based on Ethernet transmission and TCP/IP protocol is presented in this paper.The data,collected by the electric charge collecting sensor and converted by the MCU, are transferred to the computer in the mode of Socket and stored in the database.Electricity consumption are available on the web.Take an office building as an example,this paper describes the process of hardware and software design and details software development of the computer.This system offers a easy way to make the calculation of electricity costs automated and intellectualized.
