The Trends Analysis of Asia and Pacific Soft Switch Construction

Along with the radical industrial change in telecom network especially in fixed network, fixed network carriers are facing both interior and exterior challenges and the reformation is inevitable. However, every carrier has its particular network situation and considerations. So it's difficult for them to come to the common understanding in evolution policies and routes. This paper firstly analyses the industry trends around the world as well as in Asia and Pacific area, then points out the problems of network reformation and puts forward the solutions to network evolution. At last, it analyses and compares several soft switch modes such as C4, C5 and VoBB.
