Abstract:In view of the current research status of automatic control of flotation column, considering the limitations of the traditional manual operating system and the deficiencies of current automation, the working principle and the feasibility of the control mechanism of flotation column are studied. The principle of the control process and the application of the measuring instrument are analyzed mainly from four aspects, including dosage control, liquid level control, ore concentration control and air intake control. Among them, the relationship between the given dosage amount and pulp flow and pulp concentration is discussed. For liquid level control, two different instruments and equipment for detecting liquid level, ultrasonic level transmitter and static pressure level meter, are introduced. For the concentration control of feed ore, the relationship between the bottom flow pump frequency and the bottom flow concentration is described, and a mathematical model is established. For the control of air intake, the control mechanism and structure are mainly described, and two control methods are introduced. Finally, the development direction of automatic control technology of flotation column is discussed and proposed.
