Abstract:The article introduces the difference between high - pressure and low-pressure demethanizer from four points as follows: process flow diagram, equipment cost, refrigerant and compressor power consumption. Simulation optimization is done for various technical schemes to lay a solid theoretical foundation for design of cryogenic separation system of large-scale ethylene plants.
