Abstract:The rural domestic sewage was treated by the ’two-stage AO-electric dephosphorization’ combined process to solve the problems of large sludge production,large dosage,and poor phosphorus removal effect.The results showed that,the optimal parameters were as follow,the biological treatment stage selected two-stage AO treatment(anaerobic and aerobic process) based on biological contact oxidation,the hydraulic retention time(HRT)of the primary and secondary A pool was 3 h,the HRT of the primary and secondary O pool was 6 h and 3 h respectively;the HRT of the electrical dephosphorization device which was set between the secondary A pool and O pool was 1 h,the current density was 28.57 A/m2 and the plate spacing was 2 cm.After treating the domestic sewage with the optimal parameters,the effluent COD and ammonia nitrogen mass concentration could be reduced to less than 8.7 mg/L and 0.1 mg/L,respectively,TP and TN mass concentration could be reduced to less than 0.1 mg/L and 7.5 mg/L,respectively.They all met the Class A standard in the GB 18918-2002.
