Abstract:The design philosophy, experimental process and scope of application of pollution proof solid core insulator 330kV has been described.Considerations are taken in following three respects:requirement of user on increasing leakage distance, interchange ability with insulators of old type and serial line of insulator units for voltage classes 110~330kV.
