Liquid dyes'''' characteristics and their application in dyeing recycled fiber

In this paper, several liquid dyes were used to dye the waste paper pulp (pulp from OCC and waste cement sack), and their dyeingcharacteristics were analyzed. The liquid dyes include liquid basic yellow, liquid basic blue, liquid basic red, liquid basic orange, liquid basicbrown and liquid direct black. We found that, each dye had its own dyeing characteristic in dyeing the pulp from waste paper. We also observedthat a black pigment could be applied together with the said liquid dyes to dye or adjust the color of the bottom sheet for the fireproof board. Thesame dyeing result can be achieved through different combinations of different dyes.
