| Abstract: | In this paper, the method for seeking stress funetion by using geometrical meaning of stress function and its derivation on boundary is discussed, and a general form of polynomiad airy stress function for solving bending problem of rectangular narrow beam carrying polynon1ial distributed load is worked out. |
