| Abstract: | Some important physical effects appear in short range correlations in nematic liquid crystals.However,it is difficult to give reliable calculations when the molecular pair potential includes the higher order terms.On the basis of the cell theory,a new numerical method is introduced,so thatcorrection for short range correlations to the H-J-L theory can be given. |
