Development and application of pipes for high strength automobile drive axle

The development and application of high strength pipes for automobile drive axle by using superfine-graining high strength steel plate can increase the axle pipes＇ yield strength greatly, which make sure the safety of automobile when loaded on high torque. It can reduce the energy consumption and increase the velocity of turnover of landway logistics. The development of this new product is an important project of weld pipe industry scientific researching. We followed the recent research in the same industry all over the world and make sure the welding quality of the axle pipes achieve international advanced level by optimization and welding procedure. It filled up the blank of the ERW pipes for high strength automobile drive axle in domestic and achieved obvious social and economic benefits.
