| 摘 要： | 在WEBGIS中，空间信息的获取、共享、发布与分析在各个方面都发挥着越来越重要的作用，空间数据的互操作成为地理信息系统领域研究的核心问题之一。文章论述了XML在地理信息系统中的应用标准GML与SVG，并通过MapXtremeforjava在校园地理信息系统中实现了基于XML的空间数据互操作与可视化显示。
