摘    要:介绍了Stolov等人关于光纤涂层热老化失重、使用温度与光纤使用寿命之间关系的试验研究结果。通过此研究结果并结合电力通信光缆的实际应用情况研究证明:当OPGW、OPPC光缆的长期(一般指20年)使用温度为70~80℃时对光纤的传输性能和长期使用寿命不会产生影响。对于因雷击、短路电流而使OPGW、OPPC光缆产生的高温,只要其承受较高温度的时间足够短,也不会明显影响光纤的传输性能和长期使用寿命。此研究成果可供电力设计人员和运管人员参考。

Abstract:This paper describes the relationships between the thermal aging related coating weight loss of optical fi- bers, the use temperature and the lifetime of optical fiber investigated by Stolov et al, Based on the results of Stolov et al' s study and the practical applications of optical fiber cables used in power transmission line, it was demonstrated that the optical fiber transmission performance and the lifetime in OPPC and OPGW cables would not be affected sig- nificantly, when the long-term (in general 20 years) use temperature ranges from 70 to 80~C, or if the fibers work at higher temperatures caused by lightning or short-circuit current only for a very short duration. These results provide reference to power transmisson line designers and operation supervisors.
