The foam problem of papermaking wastewater is long-standing,the foam can not only affect the performances of sewage treatment facility,but also can cause the pollution to the environment.The paper elaborated the principle of organ silicon defoamer and the properties of dimethyl silicon oil which was used as the main materials of organ silicon defoamer.The species,components and performances of organ silicon defoamer were introduced systematically,the developing trend of organ silicon defoamera were discussed as well.
