Feasibility of experimental X-ray sources in nondestructive testing |

| Abstract: | Application of low-energy sources based on the90Sr-90Y radioactive nuclides has been suggested for nondestructive testing of thin (1–5 mm) components. The advantages of the suggested sources over commercial ones are the longer half-life and the higher detectability of flaws. |
