| Abstract: | Shrub standards refer to those shrubs with a shape similar to trees instead of shrubs. They differ from other shrubs with their single, trunk-like main stem, all branches gathering on the top and without side shoots below. Systematic research has been done on the taxonomy, cultivation and the application in the gardening of shrub standards,in order to gain a full understanding of shrub standards. Finally, the author's some ideas are put forwarded and the market potential is predicted. |
